About SkoolDoc

A nurse for every kid. Every day.

We started SkoolDoc because we kept seeing the same thing: schools that couldn't afford in-house nurses, parents getting called for every paper cut, and kids losing whole days of learning to things that should have taken ten minutes to handle. So we built the program we wished our own children had.

Why it matters

Built in Brooklyn. For Brooklyn first.

Our first schools are Orthodox Jewish day schools — Cheders and Bais Yaakovs — because that's where the need is sharpest and that's the community we know. The model expands from there.

We understand the realities of these buildings: tight operating budgets, modesty norms that matter, parents who want real communication in real time, and menahelim who can't take on one more operational lift. SkoolDoc was designed around those constraints, not in spite of them.

What we believe

Five principles we won't bend on.

Real clinicians only

No health aides, no "trained staff." Licensed RNs, every day. Physician-supervised, every visit.

Parents in the loop

Every visit logged, every note shared. The days of "the nurse called and I missed it" are over.

Community-matched

RNs who reflect the schools they serve — in age, gender, and cultural fluency.

Charted, not remembered

If it happened, it's in the record. Audit-ready on day one — not day one of a lawsuit.

Schools stay schools

Our job is to handle the clinical operation — so your menahelim can run the school, not a clinic.

Rooted locally

Brooklyn-based. Our clinicians volunteer with Hatzalah. Our families daven with yours.
